It was named after Baross G\u00e1bor, whose statue adorns the facade of the building.@Baross G\u00e1bor (1848-1892) was a minister of Hungary, who was born in the nearby Pruzsina. As Minister of Transportation he greatly contributed to the development of the railways of Hungary, for which he was often called \u0022iron minister\u0022.
