According to the tradition it was the guild house of the fishermen and the boatmen of Pozsony. The tavern addressed to The Black Bear was located on the ground floor in the 18th and 19th centuries.@As a result of the Slovak town destruction (i.e. the construction of the new Danube-bridge and the related road infrastructure) in the second half of the 20th century, the old town districts V\u00e1ralja and Ter\u00e9zv\u00e1ros were nearly completely destroyed.
