The plot with a ground floor house was bought by Stern Mikl\u00f3s in 1904. Originally, Komor Marcell and Jakab Dezs\u0151 planned a new building here, but it was never built. The second plan was made using the first one by Riman\u00f3czy K\u00e1lm\u00e1n Jr. and Rendes Vilmos. The palace was inaugurated in 1905. The facade of the house bears the stylistic features of the Art Nouveau style of the Hungarian architect Lechner \u00d6d\u00f6n.
