The mortuary in the centre was built in 1698 of Turkey oak, without iron nails. A small demonstration garden of the most valuable 17th-19th century gravestones in Latin and Hungarian was also created. The mayor Bern\u00e1dy Gy\u00f6rgy, the founder of modern Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely, is buried here.
