In 1400 the Franciscans moved to H\u00e1tszeg, but in 1429 the monastery is mentioned again. In 1535 it was inhabited by eleven monks. According to local tradition, the monastery ceased to exist in 1558 and the Franciscans returned to the town in 1725.
