In the 1970s the highway was widened and a 5 meters wide section was cut off of the cemetery. Sorrowfully the most valuable cemetery chapel and crypts (including the crypts of the Palugyay and the Cs\u00e1ky families) were sacrificed.@Afterwards most of the graves were disposed of by the Slovaks, so only a small portion of them survived.
